Admissions Information

Visiting our campus is a very important part in making a decision about Marlboro Academy . You should not only see our school, but also meet members of our faculty and student body. They make our school the vibrant place it is.

Application Process

  • Complete and mail application form and the $50 application fee to the Admissions Office.
  • Contact the Admission Office to arrange for a campus visit. (843-479-6501, ext. 221)
  • Arrange for admissions testing.
  • Have appropriate records faxed or mailed to the school.  (See records request.)
  • Student takes admissions test.
  • Complete enrollment contract and remit with a deposit within ten days of issuance.

Required for Final Admissions

  • Application form (with $50 application fee)
  • Transcript of grades
  • Standardized testing record
  • Disciplinary record
  • Attendance record
  • Enrollment contract and enrollment fee.

Required Prior to the First Day of School

  • Copy of social security card
  • Copy of birth certificate
  • South Carolina Certificate of Immunization

Tuition

Tuition is $3,750.00 for the 2013-2014 school year.  There are no annual book fees, activity fees, building fees, etc.  (For $6.00, each student in grades 3-8 is issued a homework planner.  Occasionally, a middle or high school student may be asked to purchase a paperback novel.)

Payment Plans

Plan A: Tuition may be paid in one lump sum of $3650.00, (with a $100 reduction).
Plan B: Monthly payments are as follows:
  • Deposit (serves as payment #1) of $340.00 by March 11, 2013.
  • All months April-February have payments of $310.00 each

Date of Payment & Payment Remittance

All payments are to be made by the 10th of each month.  (A $25.00 late fee is assessed if payments are received after the 10th of any month.)

After the return of the enrollment deposit and the enrollment contract, which is issued with the acceptance letter, all additional tuition payments are to be remitted to the attention of Stacey Newton in the finance office.
